TAMEIKA BENNETT

Bennett is a member of the Magnolia Bar Association, Capital Area Bar Association, and Young Metro Women Lawyers. She attended the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) School of Law where she received her Juris Doctorate in May 2008.

While attending Ole Miss School of Law, Bennett served as a law clerk for Moore Law Firm in Grenada, Mississippi. She was an active student in the Criminal Appeals program, where her contribution to an appellate brief resulted in a new legal standard for constructive possession in the state of Mississippi.  Additionally, Bennett was a member of the Dean’s Leadership Council, President of the Black Law Student Association, an athletic tutor, and an International Negotiations Competition finalist.

Bennett's legal career has been devoted to serving others. From her time as a prosecutor for the Mississippi Department of Human Services to her employment with Young Williams, P.A., Mike Espy PLLC, and Moore Law Group, P.A., her practice has been focused on fairness and justice for all who are impacted by her work.

​She is currently a solo-practitioner and serves as the owner and managing partner of Bennett Law Office, PLLC. In addition to practicing Law, Bennett is a Girl Scout troop leader, an active youth leader and choir member at Truevine Baptist Church, and dedicated member of the Madison County Mississippi Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

After law school, she moved to Brandon, Mississippi, is married and resides in Brandon, Mississippi.
